Knucklemania VI Live Results

Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship makes its way to Philadelphia at the Xfinity Mobile Arena for Knucklemania VI.
In the main event, BKFC Heavyweight Champion Ben Rothwell looks to avenge two previous losses in MMA to UFC legend Andrei Arlovski.
In the co-main, it’s a battle between BKFC Pound for Pound #1 and #2. After Yoel Romero fell out of his bout with BKFC Light Heavyweight Champion Lorenzo Hunt, BKFC Middleweight Champion Dave Mundell stepped up on short notice to set up the pound for pound clash.
The card can be streamed for free on BKFC’s YouTube channel. The prelims start at 7:00 PM ET. The main card starts at 8:00 PM ET.
Ben Rothwell and Andrei Arlovski face off for the final time ahead of their Knucklemania VI title fight.

Travis Thompson vs Joshua Oxendine
Round One
Travis Thompson started the round off very active with his jab, but Joshua Oxendine landed three massive shots that seemed to hurt Thompson.
Round Two
Joshua Oxendine started the round very aggressively and hurt Travis Thompson multiple times. There was a brief pause in the action when Thompson slammed Oxendine to the ground illegally. No points were taken and the round was fairly even to the bell.
Round Three
Travis Thompson started the round pushing the pace, but running straight into punches from Joshua Oxendine. Oxendine was landing at will and started dancing and taunting Thompson throughout the round.
Final Result
All three judges scored the contest 30-27 in favor of Joshua Oxendine.

Prince Nyseam vs Brett Shoenfelt
Round One
Brett Shoenfelt was trying to swarm Prince Nyseam in order to neutralize Nyseam’s elusiveness, but Shoenfelt was unsuccesful. Nyseam did a great job at landing punches to the body in the clinch.
Round Two
Prince Nyseam started the round countering Brett Shoenfelt who continued to push the pace. Nyseam continued his work to the body. Towards the end of the round, Nyseam was able to pressure Shoenfelt and landed some massive punches.
Round Three
Prince Nyseam scored an early knockdown. Brett Shoenfelt was trying to use the clinch without much success. Nyseam landed a perfect straight right hand and dropped Shoenfelt again near the end of the round.
Final Result
All three judges scored the contest 30-25 in favor of Prince Nyseam.

Lex Ludlow vs Zach Calmus
Round One
Lex Ludlow immediately landed a flurry of punches and hurt Zach Calmus. Calmus had no answer for Ludlow’s fast combinations ad pressure. Ludlow landed multiple combinations and did good work to the body in the clinch.
Round Two
Lex Ludlow quickly cut off off the ring and landed multiple combinations while Zach Calmus was on the ropes. Calmus briefly managed to get away and landed a few shots, but Ludlow managed to regain ring control and land more punches. Better round for Calmus, but Ludlow was still dominant.
Round Three
The pace slowed in this round with both fighters trading punches. Lex Ludlow ended the round cutting off the ring and picking his shots a bit more carefully.
Final Result
All three judges scored it 30-26 the contest in favor of Lex Ludlow.

Zedekiah Montanez vs Brandon Meyer
Round One
Both fighters started the fight very measured. Brandon Meyer moved well and was doing a good job at mixing feints with calculated punches. Zedekiah Montanez took the round at the very end after dropping Meyer with a clean right hand.
Round Two
Brandon Meyer was overextending a lot and Zedekiah Montanez was landing at will. Montanez dropped Meyer with a flurry of punches and Meyer returned to his feet, but not for long. Zedekiah Montanez knocked Meyer out with a right uppercut.
Final Result
Zedekiah Montanez wins via knockout in round two (1:59).

Cody Russell vs Harrison Aiken
Round One
The pace was measured with Cody Russell barely missing a few big counter punches. Russell’s ring control probably gave him the edge, but not much to note in this round.
Round Two
The round started a bit faster than the first, but Cody Russell landed a giant overhand right and finished the fight. Harrison Aiken got back up, but staggered backwards causing the referee to stop it.
Final Result
Cody Russell wins via knockout in the second round (1:16).

Pat Sullivan vs Charles Bennett
Round One
Pat Sullivan pushed forward early only to be countered with a massive right hand by Charles Bennett. Sullivan got dropped by the right, but returned to his feet. Sullivan landed some nice shots from range after recovering pretty well.
Round Two
Pat Sullivan continued to struggle with Charles Bennett’s movement. Sullivan followed Bennett, but was overextending every time he threw. Bennett landed a stiff counter left hand and knocked Sullivan out.
Final Result
Charles Bennett wins via knockout in the second round (1:56).

Mike Richman vs Joe Elmore
Round One
Mike Richman started the round off managing distance extremely well and he landed some clean body shots. Richman also timed up some nice counters. Joe Elmore landed a few shots of his own, but wasn’t able to close the distance cleanly much.
Round Two
Joe Elmore started to swing big to close the distance in a more explosive way, but he didn’t land anything too noteworthy. Mike Richman did a good job of landing counters as Elmore would explode into range. Richman dropped Elmore with a brutal body shot, but Elmore stood up and made it through the round.
Round Three
Mike Richman continued to keep Joe Elmore at range for the early portion of the round, but some of Elmore’s power punches were starting to get through. Elmore also started to work his jab more. Elmore recovered well from the second round knockdown and fought well.
Round Four
Joe Elmore was fighting much more confidently and aggressively, probably because he’s noticing more of those power shots getting through. Elmore continued to set up power shots with his jab. Richman landed one nice counter punch that knocked Elmore off balance, but nothing much came of it due to an eye poke to Elmore. Both fighters stood and traded for the remainder of the round.
Round Five
The early portion of the round was close with both fighters moving well and nothing too big landed for either fighter. Joe Elmore was pretty elusive circling on the outside, landing here and there, but got pretty tired by the end of the round. Mike Richman was still managing distance well though and landing some shots of his own. Both fighters stood and traded for the final moments of the round.
Final Result
The scorecards were 47-47, 48-46, 49-45, with two judges scoring it for Mike Richman, who wins via majority decision.

Jade Masson-Wong vs Crystal Pittman
Round One
Jade Masson-Wong was controlling the center for most of the round, but neither fighter landed anything too noteworthy. Masson-Wong landed a few solid combinations on Crystal Pittman, which likely gave her the round.
Round Two
This round was similar to the first. Crystal Pittman has looked very tentative so far and she let Jade Masson-Wong control the pace once again.
Round Three
The pattern continued in the third. Crystal Pittman needs to throw more if she’s going to win. Jade Masson-Wong continued her forward pressure and landed combinations.
Round Four
More of the same in the fourth. Pittman needs to make an adjustment.
Round Five
Crystal Pittman let this fight get away from her right away. Jade Masson-Wong dominated this round and this fight.
Final Result
All three judges scored the contest 50-45 in favor of Jade Masson-Wong, who wins via unanimous decision.

Patrick Brady vs Bear Hill
Round One
This round was interesting. It felt like every shot had the potential to end the fight, but Bear Hill did land a nice shot on Patrick Brady near the end of the round. Any mistake by either fighter and this one’s over.
Round Two
Patrick Brady started the round overextending quite a bit and ate some big punches, but made his way back into the round before scoring a nice knockdown on a counter shot near the end of it to take the round.
Round Three
Patrick Brady pushed the pace heavily to start this round and scored an early knockdown. After Bear Hill got back to his feet, Brady dropped Hill again. Hill started to fade a lot this round too.
Round Four
Bear Hill started the round with a second wind, but Patrick Brady fought his way back into it and scored another knockdown. This fight has turned into a war. Awesome round.
Round Five
Both fighters have been getting tired and they’re both swinging for the fences. Patrick Brady was definitely landing the bigger shots though in this round.
Final Result
The judges scored the contest 50-42, 50-41, 49-43 all in favor of Patrick Brady who wins via unanimous decision.

Ben Bonner vs Tony Soto
Round One
Ben Bonner was looking much faster than Tony Soto in this round. Every time Soto overextended, he was getting lit up. Bonner’s jab also looked really good.
Round Two
Ben Bonner is cracking Tony Soto with a lot of counters as Soto blitzes in. Soto was able to swarm Bonner a bit to end the round, but still a clear Bonner round.
Round Three
Tony Soto started off the round stronger, finally landing a few power shots on Ben Bonner. Bonner’s jab still looked good, but Soto was closing the distance and landing more frequently. That being said, still would give the round to Bonner. But Soto has improved slightly every round so far.
Round Four
Ben Bonner was landing with pinpoint accuracy against Tony Soto in this round. Soto was the aggressor, but Bonner was lighting him up with counters.
Round Five
Ben Bonner’s jab has looked absolutely outstanding, Bonner was easily cutting off Tony Soto’s attacks with clean straight punches. Soto just wasn’t able to do much offensively even with the pressure.
Final Result
The judges scored the contest 49-46 x2 and 48-47 all in favor of Ben Bonner, who wins via unanimous decision.

Johnny Garbarino vs Kaine Tomlinson Jr.
Round One
A lot of great movement early from Johnny Garbarino. Kaine Tomlinson Jr. was really struggling to close the distance. Garbarino was outboxing for most of this round.
Round Two
Johnny Garbarino controversially scored a knockdown of Kaine Tomlinson Jr. even though it looked more like a slip. Garbarino’s movement still has looked incredible. Garbarino dropped Tomlinson Jr. bad twice at the end of the round though.
Round Three
Johnny Garbarino accidentally slammed Kaine Tomlinson Jr. onto his head in a clinch exchange. Tomlinson Jr. looked like he was in a lot of pain, but continued. Garbarino has been fighting with confidence, scoring another knockdown. Tomlinson Jr. got back to his feet, but quickly ate another big shot and was dropped. The fight was paused though because Garbarino hit Tomlinson Jr. as he was on a knee in the flurry of punches. Tomlinson Jr. has been getting dropped in almost every exchange this round. Tomlinson Jr. narrowly escaped it.
Round Four
Johnny Garbarino sat Kaine Tomlinson Jr. once again early in this round. Garbarino’s been shoulder rolling so well for this entire fight and landing power punches at will at this stage of the fight.
Round Five
Johnny Garbarino dropped Kaine Tomlinson Jr. early once again. Tomlinson Jr. is basically taking knees to stall at this stage. Garbarino quickly landed another huge shot and the referee stopped it.
Final Result
Johnny Garbarino wins via knockout in the fifth round (0:49)

Lorenzo Hunt vs Dave Mundell
Round One
Lorenzo Hunt has clearly been looking for big punches against Dave Mundell. The thing is though, Mundell was quickly able to get control of the space in the ring. Neither fighter was able to land much. They were being a bit careful to start.
Round Two
The pace picked up a bit in this round. Lorenzo Hunt and Dave Mundell both landed big shots on each other early, but they settled back into a slower pace afterwards. Mundell has been landing to Hunt’s body consistently though. Both fighters swung bugger in this round,. Hunt suddenly dropped Mundell with a clean right hand near the end of the round, but Mundell survived.
Round Three
Dave Mundell has been backing up more this round. He seemed like he was being more careful after feeling Hunt’s power. Hunt looks to be the more explosive fighter so far. Mundell turned it up a bit at the end of the round landing some nice shots in the clinch, but still a clear Hunt round.
Round Four
Lorenzo Hunt landed a massive straight right hand to starch Dave Mundell early in the round.

Lorenzo Hunt wins via knockout in the fourth round (0:29).

Ben Rothwell vs Andrei Arlovski
Round One
Andrei Arlovski’s straight punches have looked strong so far. Ben Rothwell wasn’t able to land much of anything. Arlovski also stunned Rothwell at the end of the round, but Rothwell made it through.
Round Two
Ben Rothwell has been closing the distance better against Andrei Arlovski this round, but he has been getting lit up with stiff counters in order to even get close. Arlovski stunned Rothwell a few times, but worst moment for Rothwell was at the end of the round when Arlovski had him on the ropes. Rothwell narrowly escaped.
Round Three
The pace slowed a bit in this round. Andrei Arlovski has continued to batter Ben Rothwell and the doctor stopped the fight.
Final Result
Andrei Arlovski wins via doctor stoppage in the third round (0:43)
